V-Drive
Quarter Master 4.5, 5.5, and 7.25 V-Drive clutches feature a one-piece billet aluminum cover that is over 20% stiffer than our competition. The benefits of the open design offer l ower inertia, dust escape and improved cooling.The V-Drive cover uses spline engineering formulas to locate the floater and pressure plate on center for precise balance. This design also distributes the thrust forces evenly on the driven leg of the cover. This is the same technology you find on a input shaft and a mating clutch hub. The even distribution of these thrust forces eliminate the need for stainless shields and thrust buttons found on the
competitors' clutch covers.
Great for Road Racing, Speedway and Short Track
7.25" V-Drive Button Assemblies are used in rear mount starter bellhousing systems and work great with OE style flexplates.
Button style clutches allow great versatility, performance and reliability. These assemblies include friction, button flywheel and bolt kit.
