OBD racing springs feature a design concept that adjusts the body diameter of the spring relative to the end coils. The OBD design enables Hyperco to take full advantage of it's high tensile material by optimizing the applied stress through adjusting the spring's body diameter...the result..More deflection for the same Free Length and Spring Rate, Less Weight for the same Free Length and Spring Rate, Increased Rate Linearity for the same Free Length and Spring Rate and More Resistance to Bowing. OBD springs fit all standard hardware.

IMPORTAND NOTE: Hyperco has planned a phased transition to this design, and over time, 100% of the line will be produced in the OBD configuration. Users will notice that OBD spring bodies are slightly larger than the end coils, and their packaging will include a blue dot next to the part number for ease of identification.
